Pauline McLynn was born in Sligo, raised in Galway and now divides her life between Dublin and London. She’s a graduate of Trinity College Dublin and author of six novels, three featuring Irish private investigator Leo Street, as well as The Woman On The Bus, Summer In The City and Bright Lights and Promises. Her latest book, Missing You Already, will be published on January 8th. An award-winning actress, she has performed in all major Irish theatres, and will be seen in Fiona Looney’s October at the Olympia in Dublin next February. On television, she’s a regular performer with Bremner, Bird and Fortune on Channel 4 and she played the iconic character Mrs Doyle in the cult TV comedy series Father Ted.
